Bullying
Carlisle College is committed to providing a supportive, friendly, safe and positive environment so that the students can learn in a secure atmosphere and get the most out of their experience of college life.
Carlisle College does not tolerate bullying.
Bullying has several things in common:
- it is deliberately hurtful behaviour
- it is usually repeated over a period of time (although it could be a one-off incident)
- it is difficult for those being bullied to defend themselves
Examples of bullying are:

Bullying or harassment of any kind is unacceptable at Carlisle College. If it does occur, students are urged to voice their grievances in the secure knowledge that incidents will be taken seriously and dealt with sensitively.
