Foundation Degree Business Management
This innovative course is aimed at those who are looking to explore the functions of business and gain a well-rounded understanding of how local, national and global markets operate. Whatever your subject specialism, if you are seeking to start your own business, become self-employed or join one of a wide range of small, medium or large employers, this course will give you the skills and knowledge to develop and grow a business. The course has been developed in collaboration with a variety of industry partners and you will work on live briefs set by industry experts.

The course is made up of 240 credits, studied over 2 years and includes, but is not limited to:

You will be offered the opportunity to undertake professional qualifications including project management and ILM.
You will learn through a variety of lectures, group exercises, case studies, seminars and undertake self- study for approximately 12 hours per week.
Students will be assessed through a range of methods including - academic reports, case studies, research projects and portfolios.
80 UCAS points or relevant experience.
Students who have already completed an HNC in business will be able to start as a second year student. Students who have completed part of an HNC in Business will be exempt from studying certain modules and can switch to the Foundation Degree as a pathway.
Upon successful completion of the course students will be equipped with the knowledge and practical skills to work in a business environment and apply for a variety of business roles. Students can also choose to top up their Foundation Degree to a full degree by studying a top up BA (Hons) Business Management.
