Entry Requirements:

This course is for students with additional support needs who wish to develop independent living skills and skills for work.

Course Content:

You will learn basic cookery skills needed in a home kitchen.

Method of Study

Practical tasks and cooking in a kitchen. You will be taught in small groups by your tutors with support from learning support workers wherever needed.

Method of Assessment

You will be assessed continually throughout your course and you will not have to take any examinations. At the end you will gain a College certificate.

Progression Routes

You could go onto other full time and part time entry courses, such as New Horizons, or Skills for Working Life.
