Learning Support

Is there any additional support for my specific needs?

We will meet with you to discuss ways in which we can help. Some students have a wide range of additional needs and we’re proud that we can provide staff qualified to teach in specialised support areas:

• Severe to mild learning difficulties
• Deaf and hearing impaired
• Specific learning difficulties
• Basic Skills needs
• Blind or visually impaired

Here are examples of the support we can provide:

• Support Assistants for learning or physical disabilities
• Interpreters (Communication support worker)
• Note taker
• Reader
• Pre-recorded tapes
• Enlarged or Braille materials
• Trained First Aiders
• Special equipment
• Special exam arrangements (e.g. extra time, reader, scribe)
