Hello my name is Malcolm Bunting and I am Contracts Manager I have worked for Top Notch Contractors for 13 years

The qualification I am currently doing is Site Supervision. I have found the fact that we didn’t have to attend college in a block or day release very helpful as it saves company time and my time as well.

Currently we have 3 staff who have completed administration, we have 3 completed in carpentry and joinery, 1 plasterer, 1 painter and decorator and 3 doing the site supervision course.

The training has lead to upskilling of staff, better efficiency and quality of work. This has given our site based staff the benefit of CSCS cards.

Working with the college I have found the staff very helpful . They are always available over the telephone or via email.

The college staff are very friendly and very supportive . We have a dedicated tutor who visits us on site.
I would recommend carrying out an NVQ at Carlisle College.
