Make time for students, listen to and respond quickly to their needs and concerns. Take into account the impact on students when making every decision . Treat students and colleagues with courtesy and respect, as you would wish to be treated yourself. Be friendly and welcoming to students.

Ensure students are on the correct course to meet their goals and aspirations. Ensure staff challenge and support students to achieve. Ensure effective monitoring and evaluation of student progress to meet or exceed success targets. Celebrate success in all its forms.

Ensure all classes are planned, resourced, staffed and continuously monitored. Adopt a consistent approach to challenging unacceptable behaviour and poor performance.
