HOW DO I APPLY FOR A COURSE?

The application process is electronic on the Carlisle College website (www.carlisle. ac.uk). Simply find the course that you are interested in and scroll to the bottom of the course details page and click the APPLY button. The application should only take a few minutes.

We recommend that you apply as soon as possible to secure your place and receive an offer for study from September.

HOW CAN I CONTACT THE COLLEGE IF I HAVE A QUESTION OR NEED SOME HELP AND ADVICE?

Please email info@carlisle.ac.uk and a member of the team will be able to help.

CAN I APPLY FOR MORE THAN ONE COURSE?

We ask that you only make one application to one course - you will then progress through the application system on the basis of this chosen course. At any point you may transfer your application to another course.

We currently have the following Open Days/ Advice Sessions scheduled:

I’M INTERESTED IN AN APPRENTICESHIP, HOW DO I APPLY?

To apply for an Apprenticeship, please visit the Apprenticeship section of our website. Here you will find information about all of the Apprenticeship programmes on offer as well as details on how to apply.

We would encourage anyone applying for an Apprenticeship to also apply for a full time course. Students will be able to transfer from a full time course to an Apprenticeship throughout the academic year once an appropriate Apprenticeship vacancy become available.

I HAVE ALREADY APPLIED FOR A COURSE, WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?

As part of your online application you will receive an email confirming your application and within a week of applying our Student Services team will contact you to chat through your chosen course. It is really important you answer this call, as this is the start of your journey as a Future Student.

Once you have spoken with a member of the Student Services team, we will send you a conditional offer for you chosen course. You will then be invited to attend a Showcase Event, where you will meet your tutor and get a feel for college life.

There will also be an opportunity to speak with our other services such as Learning Support, Careers and Finance. Following your Showcase Event, you will be invited to an enrolment session at the end of August, here you will be given your start state and time table.

WHAT IF I REQUIRE LEARNING SUPPORT?

Our Learning Support Team are committed to providing our students with the continued support they require - tailored to your specific needs to help you succeed in your studies and achieve your goal.

Learning support needs can be indicated on your application and will be covered in your Future Student Event.
