If you are interested in the field of computing and are unsure which specialism or have interest in more than one area, this course is for you!
The available option modules include programming, networking and general computing.
On completion of this programme, you can progress onto a Masters (MSc) and further specialise in your selected area of computing or move into employment within the industry.
This course can open a number of different doors for you depending on module choices you make; you could gain employment as a systems developer, website developer, applications developer, network engineer or IT analyst.
As part of our work ready guarantee, you will develop your skills in our dedicated, self-contained computing lab, which is on an internal network and contains some of the latest security equipment and software. You'll have guest lectures and Q&A sessions with experts from a range of employers including Cumbria Police.
