Carlisle College is committed to providing free, impartial, high quality Information, Advice and Guidance that enables learners and potential learners to make well informed decisions, plans and manage their progression through learning and employment.

How can we help?

Our Student Services team working with tutors can provide you with pre-entry information and advice on courses and entry requirements and information on funding available to help you in choosing the best course or level for your individual needs and future plans.

We have trained and experienced Career Advisers who can:

  • Provide careers planning information, advice and guidance
  • Support learners with researching University options and applying through UCAS
  • Support and provide advice on job search, application forms, CV, Labour Market Information and further courses, apprenticeships, voluntary work, work experience and employment.
  • Access to careers resources for career research

Parents/Carers are also welcome to contact Carlisle College about the support available for their child and in exploring possible progression opportunities.
