Industry Welding Training

Carlisle College is proud to be a TWI Accredited training provider. We can provide bespoke welding training and coded welds, for welders in Cumbria, Dumfries and the Borders, as well as further afield.

HGV Technician Apprenticeship returns to Carlisle College with backing from leading employers

Following the success of our Light Vehicle apprenticeship programme producing high quality technicians to the local motor industry, Carlisle College is pleased to expand delivery to the haulage transport industry with the re-introduction of Heavy Vehicle Technician Apprenticeships at our City-centre campus from September 2025.
