The engineering and manufacturing industries require today’s Engineers to design, build, test, service and maintain a wide range of products to meet the needs of society in this country and worldwide. Engineering is a very diverse sector, and the evidence is all around you – the clothes we wear, the food we eat, the games we play, the cars we drive, and the buildings we live in are all the product of a process which included engineering in their manufacture.

If you enjoy taking things to pieces and discovering how they work and putting them back together, enjoy building things from scratch and have good problem-solving skills, then a career in engineering would suit you.
