We have funding available to help you out and a team of friendly staff who can answer any questions or concerns you may have. This includes questions about transport, course fees, Further Education (FE) & Higher Education (HE) loans, debts and budgeting and much more.
Who can apply for the 16-18 Bursary?
If you fall into one of the following categories, you will be eligible to apply for support from the 16-18 Bursary:
Household income less than £32,300?
A young person
Living independently and in receipt of Income Support or Universal Credit because you are financially supporting yourself or financially supporting yourself and someone who is dependent on you and living with you, such as a child or partner.
In receipt of Employment Support Allowance or Universal Credit AND Disability Living Allowance or Personal Independence Payment (PIP) in your own right.
In care or leaving care.
How to apply
To apply for a bursary at Carlisle College, please complete ALL of the following steps carefully:
Step 1: You will need to be fully enrolled onto your course before you can access this service.
Step 2: You will have to wait 24 hours following enrolment, and then complete the Multi-Factor Authentication process - instructions can be found HERE.
