Apprenticeship Description
PMS Fabrications are a reputable steel manufacturer delivering construction projects from concept to completion for a diverse range of clients both in the commercial and residential sectors.

As a Business Administration Apprentice, you’ll gain hands-on experience across a range of business support activities. You’ll work closely with the accounts team and wider management team, learning how a successful business operates day-to-day. Your training will be fully supported, leading to a nationally recognised qualification and genuine opportunity to progress within the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Handling post, telephone calls, and assisting with day-to-day operations to ensure the business runs smoothly
• Greeting visitors and covering the front desk
• General office duties including scanning, printing, maintaining electronic filing systems, organised files and records of business activity
• Assisting with duties in relation to ordering goods, processing invoices and payments as appropriate and data inputting
• Provide business support to the accounts team which includes responding to enquiries from internal personnel, and external suppliers and customers which could be received via telephone, face-to-face and email
• Assist with providing business support for meetings which could include arranging dates, room bookings, and note taking as appropriate

Mon to Fri 08:30am to 4.00pm
½ hour lunch break
35 hours per week

Entry Requirements
GCSE Maths & English Grade 4/C or Functional Skills Level 2
