Apprenticeship Description

Our aim is to fully close the circular journey of the waste produced, through our ability to manage the whole process – skip hire and business waste collection through to recycling and full material recovery.
Role Overview
The Business Administrator plays a key role in delivering exceptional service and administrative support to North West Recycling’s customers. This position ensures the efficient handling of enquiries, smooth coordination of daily operations, and accurate management of customer records and documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service
- Act as the primary point of contact for customer service enquiries via phone, email, and face-to-face interactions.
- Provide timely, courteous, and effective responses to customer queries.
- Escalate complex or unresolved matters to the Sales & Marketing Director or appropriate team members.
Administrative Support & Documentation
- Maintain and update customer information accurately within the CRM system.
- Process invoice queries, cash refunds, rental texts, trade waste sign off, duty of care administration and service-related documentation for sub-contractors with attention to detail.
- Prepare reports, correspondence, and documentation to support commercial and operational teams.
Team Collaboration
- Work collaboratively with all teams across the business to ensure consistent service delivery.
Provide administrative assistance for internal projects, marketing campaigns, and business initiatives.
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of customer service processes and administrative efficiency.
Working Week
9.00am to 5.00pm Monday - Friday
Qualifications Required
Maths & English GCSE grade 4 / C or equivalent qualification
