Full Description of position
● To help provide a professional and knowledgeable first point of contact to visitors to the school, ensuring that information given is accurate and up to date and that visitors/contractors are signed in correctly;
● To answer and direct phone calls, providing information and assistance as required;
● To assist in the provision of an accurate messaging service for staff and students, and ensure that urgent messages are delivered immediately;
● To utilise the various software programmes available within school to maintain records and provide information as required;
● To work with colleagues across the school, and also with external agencies, to facilitate an effective administrative provision;
● To assist in the provision of an efficient administrative service across the range of school functions.
● Assist with placing of orders, checking of orders, processing and paying invoices.
● Assisting termly stocktake of school shop.
● Assist with organisation of school events including; Open Evenings, Parents’ Evenings and Transition days.
● To be responsible for your own ongoing professional development and training.
● To support and contribute to the safety of students and wider organisation in line with general requirements and school policies.

Working Week
37 Hours Per Week
8:15am - 4:15pm, Monday - Friday
Thursday (term time), college learning day.
Entry requirements
Maths & English GCSE grade 4 / C , Functional Skills Level 2 or equivalent qualification.
