We purchase from British suppliers for our ironmongery & fittings and our timber is sourced only from suppliers that hold either the FSC® or PEFC™ chain of custody certification schemes. Full Description of position:
You will create building components by setting out, marking out and manufacturing basic architectural products, including doors and windows.
You will be responsible for using machinery and tools under supervision to create structures or components from the designs, plans and specifications of architects and designers that meet the clients’ expectations.
You will work in a busy workshop, maintaining precision and accuracy within your work, and contribute to keeping a tidy and neat working area.
Personal Qualities
The successful applicant will have a strong interest in architectural joinery and a desire to build a career with a reputable local joinery business. You should have good attention to detail, be a reliable team player, and take pride in your work
Typical working week would be - Monday to Thursday (hours to be agreed upon appointment)
Applicants must have obtained, or predicted, Maths and English GCSE grade 3/D or equivalent qualification.
