Apprenticeship Description

Full Description of position
The successful candidate will, amongst other things, learn and be capable to -
Prepare surfaces – Cleaning, sanding and priming surfaces to ensure a smooth and even application of finishes.
Apply paint– Applying paint using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment, adhering to colour specifications and achieving uniform finish.
Wallpaper – Measuring, cutting, and applying wallpaper or fabric to walls, ensuring alignment and smooth surface.
Communicate with clients – Discussing project requirements and providing advice on colour choices and finishes.
Maintaining a clean and organised work area – tidying up after completing tasks and cleaning tools.
Adhere to deadlines – meeting project deadlines and delivering high quality work.
Learning new skills – Staying up to date with new techniques and products.
Working Week
40 hours per week - Monday to Friday

Entry Requirements
Maths & English GCSE Grade 3 / D or equivalent qualification
Important Other Information
Must be able to get to the workshop in Kendal every morning
