The Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) Level 2 Award in Leadership and Team Skills will equip you with a basic understanding of the various roles and responsibilities of a team leader, as well as introducing you to the theories and principles of management.
This course is an ideal entry point into the leadership and management field, particularly if you are aiming to make the transition from team member to team leader.
The ILM Level 2 Award can also support you if you’re a practising supervisor, by improving your ability to communicate effectively and solve problems.
The course is ideal for practicing team leaders, helping them become more effective and confident in their role. The course will support new or aspiring team leaders - helping them make the transition from working in a team to leading a team.

Extra Studies:The course will include seven modules delivered online which will be assessed through written assignments.
- 4 GCSEs at Level 4 (C) and above,

- Related work experience as team leader or manager.

Successful learners can progress to the ILM Level 3 Certificate in Leadership and Management.
