This course aims to provide a balance of essential study skills of specialist subject knowledge to enable the students to be prepared academic and practical rigours of undergraduate study in Policing and Criminology, the uniformed services.
It is ideal for students who are intending to progress directly to employment or further study.
Learners primarily progress to HE studies in areas related to Policing, Sociology, Criminology and Law

- Crime Scene Investigation

- Introduction to Psychology and Sociology

Access to HE Diploma Policing and Criminology
Extra Studies:Extended Project and Independent / blended study which is self-directed.
A variety of teaching methods are used; exams, practical exercises, lectures, projects and presentations, case studies. You will be expected to undertake home study on this course. Graded units can be awarded at Pass, Merit or Distinction.
The following assessment methods will be used to assess the units within this Diploma. Assessment methods consist of; Case Studies, Verbal Presentation, Practical tasks/demonstrations, Tests/exams, Written Assignments
- 5 GCSEs at Grades 4 (C) and above, or equivalent including Maths and English.
- You must be 19+ to be accepted on to this course
