This programme is designed to develop advanced beauty therapy knowledge and skills which will prepare you for employment as an enhanced therapist or pursue employment at a managerial level within the beauty therapy industry. This degree will enable you to develop an enhanced repertoire of advanced specialist techniques.
Throughout this qualification you will develop your knowledge and understanding of relevant anatomy and physiology, and Complementary therapy products and equipment. You will also develop interpersonal skills that will assist you to communicate effectively with clients.

As a result, there are a variety of opportunities and placements throughout the year for you to participate in which mirror current industry practices and inform your Industry engagement. Most study approaches are theoretical, with a view to being able to apply theory to job roles. This will involve the use of IT, along with Aesthetic specific equipment.
You will be assessed in a variety of different ways including reports, essays, presentations, practical tasks and individual academic research which allow students to showcase their knowledge and skills to best effect.
