The purpose of Pearson BTEC Higher Nationals in Construction Management is to develop students as professional, self-reflecting individuals able to meet the demands of employers in the construction sector and adapt to a constantly changing world. Most study approaches are theoretical, with a view to being able to apply theory to job roles. This will involve the use of IT, along with Construction specific equipment and software. The Construction Academy will be used where appropriate for practical study.
You will be assessed in a variety of different ways including reports, essays, presentations, practical tasks and individual academic research which allow students to showcase their knowledge and skills to best effect.
