Are you dreaming of a career in construction, specifically in surveying and design, civil engineering and building services design? If so, this T-Level could be for you.
You will benefit from learning in industry-standard facilities and from tutors with years of experience within the sector. You will study a range of important topics including health and safety regulations, the science behind building design, surveying and planning, building regulations and standards, as well as project management and relationship management.
You will complete the course with the knowledge and practical experience you need to play a variety of vital roles in the industry. You will also undertake an employer industry placement for a minimum of 45 days throughout your course, giving you the opportunity to put your new skills into practice and thrive in the workplace.
You will also complete an occupational specialism component (Surveying and Design for Construction and the Built Environment). Alongside your studies you will undertake a substantial work experience placement of at least 45 days.

A Pearson Level 3 T-Level in Design, Surveying and Planning for Construction (Surveying and Design for Construction and the Built Environment)
Extra Studies:Maths, English and digital skills are vital to all roles in construction, and these are embedded throughout the course to help you prepare for working in the industry.

- You will ordinarily require a minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade 4 or above, including English, maths and science.
- You may also be required to participate in an assessment to ensure suitability ahead of enrolment.

On successful completion of this course, you may progress into industry on an apprenticeship or a variety of entry-level roles including a technical surveyor. Alternatively, you can progress into higher education

Work experience is an important part of your T-Level, and you will undertake a substantial industry placement with an employer for a minimum of 45 days during your course to help you prepare for your next steps. You will also undertake an employer-set project as part of the course. Carlisle College will take all reasonable steps to provide the course as described.
