This qualification will help you gain an understanding of Fabrication & Welding within the Engineering industry sector. Alongside your studies, the programme will consist of employer set projects, site visits, industry placements and guest speakers/lecturers to prepare you for the working environment.
The programme is broken down into 2 years. Year 1 will be focussed on developing an understand of a broad range of engineering subjects and topics. In year 2 there will be a focus on the fabrication and welding specialism and allow you to gain knowledge, skills and experience within this sector.

Upon successful completion of this course you will receive a T Level in Fabrication and Welding Technologies
Extra Studies:You are required to undertake 315 hours industry placement over the duration of the course. This will be aided by your development whilst studying at college, and enable you to transfer your new and updated skills and knowledge into the workplace.

The course allows you to progress onto HE, employment (welder or fabrication engineer) or an apprenticeship

English and maths is embedded in the course to help you enhance your skills. The course will help you build on your skills in a practical setting and apply vocationally relevant English and maths skills
