Army outreach teams came to Carlisle College on Wednesday 21st Feb. The Carlisle outreach team delivered a 'build a barracks' workshop and the North West team brought the inflatable assault course.
Approximately 150 students took part in these activities including Sport, UPS, Teaching assistants, H&SC, Hospitality, Brick, Multi-skills, Digital, Business and Art.
The sessions involves an activity followed by information & careers chat. The students really enjoyed the activity and were thoroughly engaged in the careers chat afterwards which provided a fantastic insight into army life, with a lot of myth busting and a look at the career opportunities available in the army.
