Following the success of last year's sessions, Kelly was invited back to the college for an expanded programme, delivering four classes across two days to students studying hair and beauty subjects.

Designed to give students insight into the rapidly evolving world of social media marketing and digital content, the workshops explored how effective content creation can help showcase their skills, grow businesses, create opportunities and build successful careers.

A special guest speaker joined the sessions, with Miss Great Britain finalist Roseanne Reedbrough sharing her experiences of content creation and personal branding. Speaking to students as part of a workshop themed around pageant styling and professional presentation, she highlighted the important role that digital content plays in supporting her work and public profile.

Throughout the day, students were given practical tips and techniques to help them enhance their own content creation skills, alongside valuable insights into how a successful creative business can be built and developed.

Kelly also shared her personal journey in growing TruContent, providing students with a real-world perspective on entrepreneurship within the creative and digital industries.

The return visit reflects Carlisle College's commitment to providing students with opportunities to learn directly from industry professionals, helping them develop the knowledge, skills and confidence needed for employment and further study.

Leonie Smith, Head of Curriculum for Hair and Beauty said: "At Carlisle College, we're passionate about giving our students access to industry expertise and real-world experiences. Having TruContent return for a second year was fantastic, and the students gained so much from hearing about the journey behind the business and learning practical content creation skills which they can take into their future careers. With Roseanne also joining us this year the students could gain real insight into the impact of personal branding and presentation.  The workshops were engaging, inspiring and gave our learners a great insight into how digital content can open doors to future career opportunities."

Carlisle College continues to work closely with employers and industry experts to ensure students gain meaningful experiences that complement their studies and prepare them for future careers in the creative and digital sectors.
