The qualifications put learning into the context of the world of work, giving students the opportunity to apply their research, skills and knowledge in relevant and realistic work contexts. This applied, practical approach means learners build the knowledge, understanding and skills they need for career progression or further study supporting learners GCSE Maths and English success, while developing knowledge of professional behaviours in the context of Business and Computing to support future career and course choices.
The qualifications encourage learners to develop the ability to combine skills and units to give a realistic learning experience that emulates the 21st century workplace. The Pearson BTEC Level 2 Awards/ Certificate in Workskills are for learners who need to develop their skills and knowledge of employability to access the job market. Extra Studies:Work Experience | GCSE English | GCSE Maths
You will learn through a variety of lectures, group exercises, practical work and you will be expected to undertake directed self-study to complete assignments.
Assessment includes a range of methods and styles suited to skills and occupationally based qualifications at this level. Units are internally assessed using a range of assessments including practical activities, written assignments, workbooks, presentations, posters, case studies, work placement, scenarios and role play.
- 4 GCSEs art Grade 3 (C), including Maths and English.

On Completion of the course, you have the opportunity to progress on to a Level 2 Certificate Esports, Level 2 First Diploma in Creative Technology or Level 2 Business or a Level 3 programme on achieving both maths and English at grade 4.
