Are you looking to start a career in cloud technology? The Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) course is the ideal entry point.

This part-time, 6-week course introduces the core principles of cloud computing, offering a broad understanding of cloud models, services, pricing, security, and support. No prior technical experience is required, making it perfect for beginners, aspiring IT professionals, or business decision-makers exploring cloud solutions.

Delivered in our industry-standard network lab, the course includes approximately 3 hours of independent study per week.

Entry requirements

GCSEs including Maths and English at grade 4 (or equivalent experience).
Some prior knowledge of computer network basics
A pre-course meeting with our teaching team, including a diagnostic assessment, will ensure the course is the right fit for you.

What will I achieve?

Upon successful completion, you will receive the Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) certification.

What will I learn?

You will gain a solid foundation in cloud computing, including:
• Core concepts of cloud computing
• Overview of Microsoft Azure services
• Cloud deployment models: Public, Private, and Hybrid
• Pricing, service-level agreements (SLAs), and lifecycle
• Azure security, compliance, and governance
• Identity, privacy, and access management in the cloud

How is the course taught?

The course is delivered through a variety of engaging and practical methods:
• Instructor-led lectures
• Hands-on practical tasks
• Case studies and short projects

How am I assessed?

You will be assessed through undertaking an external exam.

Where can I progress?

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be equipped with the skills and certification needed for a variety of roles in IT, for example

· Cloud Administrator (entry level)

· Technical Support Engineer (cloud-focused)

· Cloud Sales or Pre-Sales Specialist

· Junior Cloud Analyst or Consultant

· IT Support roles in cloud-based environments

The MS AZ-900 provides and foundation making it a smart stepping stone toward other Microsoft Certifications such as CCST and more advanced Azure certifications A
