Take your first step towards an exciting career in engineering and manufacturing with the Design and Development for Engineering and Manufacturing T Level.
This two-year Level 3 course will help you develop the technical knowledge and practical skills needed for a range of careers in engineering design and development. You’ll explore areas including engineering and manufacturing processes, mathematics, materials and their properties, and commercial principles within the sector.
Alongside your studies, you’ll complete an industry placement with an employer, giving you valuable experience of the workplace and the opportunity to develop your skills in a real industry environment. The T Level includes a minimum of nine weeks working with an employer.
This course can help you progress towards careers such as CAD technician or 3D printing technician, as well as providing a route to a related higher-level apprenticeship or further study at a higher level.
