This course is a two-module programme.

Are looking to become a professional at applying gel nail polish? Want to perfect the art of manicures?

This two-day training course is for you.

Start your own nail business or add gel nail polish to the list of treatments you offer. Our Manicure session will include appropriate preparation of a nail prior to application including filing and cuticle work. The Gel Nail session will include how to safely apply and remove gel nail polish and understand the different products.

If you already have sound knowledge of nails and have completed a manicure unit prior to this course, you can enrol on the Gel Nails unit alone. If you require professional experience in manicures, you can attend our manicure unit before beginning the Gel Nails unit.

All products and equipment are supplied for the duration of the course by your educator. Kit is available to purchase on request.

Entry requirements

Knowledge in basic manicure
Completed a Manicure Unit prior to the Gel Nails unit of the course.

What will I achieve?

Upon successful completion of this course you will achieve a College Certificate in Gel polish application and removal. This will allow you to practice independently and gain insurance.

Appropriate preparation of a nail prior to application, including filing and cuticle work
Application and removal of a Gel polish
Application of dark and a French Gel polish
Language that should and shouldn't be used in a professional environment
