Skills for Further Learning and Employment – Level 2

• You must already be working at a level appropriate to the study programme; this will be discussed at interview to see if this is the most suitable course.

Upon successful completion of this course you will achieve a Level 2 Extended Certificate in Skills for Further Learning and Employment.

• Understanding customer service in the retail sector
• Understanding how individuals and teams contribute to the effectiveness of a retail business
• Understanding and handling of customer payments in the retail business
• Personal budgeting and money management

You will complete a variety of coursework that will support you in your development and progression towards achieving this qualification.

You will be required to complete a work experience placement alongside your course.

You will be required to attend Maths and English classes on a weekly basis to help make progress in these two key areas. 

Upon completion of this course, you can progress into employment within the Customer Service / Retail sector, further studies in a vocational area, or supported internship (EHCP Learners only).
