• 4 GCSEs at grade 3 or above including English and Maths

You will also be invited to meet our teaching team before starting the course to participate in a diagnostic assessment to ensure the course is right for you.

Upon successful completion of this course you will receive a Level 2 NCFE in Travel and Tourism.

As a Travel and Tourism Student, you will have the opportunity to get involved with a range of activities and live briefs. This will involve working with local employers from the industry to further develop your knowledge and skills which you have learnt in the classroom.

Within the course there are opportunities for Trips and Visits to learn more about the local Travel and Travel and Tourism Industry, your course will be enriched by local employers and stakeholders who will share their knowledge of the industry along with their experiences within.

All learners will be required to undertake external work placement within the industry.

English and maths is taught alongside this course to help you enhance your skills. The course will help you build on your skills in a practical setting. You will learn how to calculate quantities of paint and wallpaper required to complete tasks.

If you do not hold GCSE grade 4 in Maths and English, you will be supported with dedicated lessons to help you achieve these.

Upon successful completion of this course you can progress onto Level 3 Travel and Tourism, enter employment or take up an apprenticeship.
