The final exams consist of two equally balanced papers, each assessing reading and writing in an integrated way.
The GCSE 9 - 1 specification consists of three parts and has two exams.

Paper one covers reading and writing of fiction texts.

Paper two covers reading and writing of non-fiction texts. You will also be assessed on your English-speaking skills.

There is a strong focus on English Language throughout this course.
