Care, compassion, competence, communication, courage, commitment. Focus on the core principles of health and social care and early years. This course is ideal if you like working with others and want to make a difference in society.

This study programme provides an opportunity to equip you with the knowledge, understanding and practical skills for success in employment in the caring field. It is designed for those who wish to work in a care setting e.g., a residential or care home, or a nursery or childcare setting.

You will explore career opportunities and next steps relating to the Healthcare or Early Years sector. You will be able to identify and develop key work skills which will support you within the sector.

Learners will develop a greater understanding of the Healthcare and Early Years sector – how they operate, roles within the sector, mental health illnesses, etc.
