Broaden your horizons with this in-depth exploration of travel and tourism within the North West and the UK.

Designed to prepare you for a future career in travel agency, airline, cruise ship or resort, this travel and tourism course will help you to develop your skills in customer service and hospitality on a global scale.

You will gain an understanding of travel agencies operations, tour guiding, and customer service, preparing you for future employment in a variety of roles.

Guest speakers are booked in during the academic year to enhance your learning experience and knowledge.

Work experience opportunities

You will be required to completing a work placement within the sector (minimum of 1 day per week)

English and Maths

If you do not hold grade 4 GCSE in English and/or maths, you will be supported with dedicated lessons to achieve these qualifications.

Both subjects will be embedded into your course to prepare you for your career in travel, with practical activities such as map reading, calculating distance and producing brochures.
