Travel and Tourism – Level 3

• 5 GCSEs grade 9-4 (A*-C), including English and Maths

Scottish equivalent

Upon successful completion of this course you will achieve a Level 3 Diploma in Travel and Tourism.

You will be required to completing a work placement within the sector (minimum of 1 day per week) 

If you do not hold grade 4 GCSE in English and/or maths, you will be supported with dedicated lessons to achieve these qualifications.

Both subjects will be embedded into your course to prepare you for your career in travel, with practical activities such as map reading, calculating distance and producing brochures.

Upon successful completion of this course you can progress straight into employment; however, it can also lead onto further learning.

Alternatively, you will have the opportunity to progress to the following qualifications:

• Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE).
