Upon successful completion of this course, you will achieve a Level 1 Extended Certificate in Construction Multi-Skills.

• Construction Principles
• Carpentry
• Plastering
• Cost Calculations

• Practical sessions in a fit-for-purpose workshop
• Theory sessions in a classroom environment

• Portfolio of practical assessment evidence
• Practical training book
• Practical synoptic tests
• Paper-based and online exams
• Coursework

All students will be required to complete a minimum of 20 hours work placement. 

Construction workers need core English and maths skills to be able to provide estimates, mix ratios of materials and take measurements.

English and maths will be embedded into practical and theory sessions, reinforcing communication, information and calculations.

On successful completion of this course, you may be able to progress onto a Level 2 Construction course.
