More about the course

This course is designed as a bridging course intended to facilitate a level of growth and learning for students to develop the skills needed to support the next step on their further learning journey.

This course focuses on creating opportunities of learning through a range of activities and tasks that challenge and promote a better understanding of self. Building confidence, as well as preparing for adulthood.

Maths and English will also be a compulsory part of the study programme and a session in a chosen Vocational area.

You will cover areas including personal learning and development, money management and independent living skills.

Entry requirements

You must already be working at a level appropriate to the study programme; this will be discussed at interview to see if this is the most suitable course.

Upon successful completion of this course you will achieve a Level 1 Extended Certificate in Skills for Further Learning and Employment.
