This Entry Level Certificate in Skills for Employment, Training and Personal Development is designed to provide an introduction to working in the Construction industry. It also develops generic employability skills designed to build confidence for the workplace.  

This course is for students who are not ready for a Level 1 but would like to develop their employability and communication skills, leading to greater independence, opportunities for work and access to higher level qualifications.  
 
This is a rich and varied course and will give you the opportunity to study bricklaying, plastering and painting and decorating. You will also study other vocational skills that will help you make up your mind about your career and help you to build your confidence with studying.
