Engineering Operations – Level 2

• 4 GCSEs at grade 3 (D), including English and maths

or

• Level 1 vocational at Merit or Distinction and Level 1 qualification in English and maths

or

• Scottish National 5's at D or above in Maths and English

Upon successful completion of this course you will achieve a Level 2 Diploma in Performing Engineering Operations.

All students will be required to complete a minimum of 35 hours work placement. 

Engineers need to have excellent English and maths skills. If you have not achieved a GCSE grade 4 or above, we will help you to get a qualification alongside your studies.

We will also help you apply English and maths in real settings, like producing reports, calculating weight distribution and working out ratios and formulae.

On successful completion of this course, you can progress onto other higher-level courses, such as Level 3 in Engineering, employment or an apprenticeship in various engineering areas.
