The course has excellent links with all local providers of higher education and universities nationally.

The Humanities and Social Sciences pathway is appropriate for those wanting to go into social work and other social science professions. It will provide the academic knowledge for learners to move onto studying a range of social science HE courses.

Access to HE

The Access to Higher Education Diploma in Art & Design is designed to provide you with the knowledge, skills and understanding necessary to progress to degree level study in art and design, or into employment. It provides an opportunity for those who have an interest in the visual arts to explore, develop and test their creativity within a qualification structure which is stimulating and demanding and provides a supportive transition from further to higher education.

It is for age 19+ adults who may be returning to education at any stage of their life.

The vocational context of this qualification is key to effective delivery, and this is provided through assignment briefs that provide you with realistic, work-based scenarios and projects. You will be encouraged to take responsibility for your own learning and achievement.
